My Bio
My name is Shelley and I'm a graphic designer in the making. I fill my time drawing or reading (I live in the middle of nowhere which makes socializing difficult).
My style of drawing depends entirely on my mood. Mostly I only doodle, and then my doodle becomes a full blown project, but occasionally I plan a more detailed piece. I can draw off the top of my head but I find my work is much better if I have a reference to go by. I'll try and upload a little bit of everything here, a little diversity never hurt anyone. lol

My graphics tablet is broken! I have a Wacom Graphire4, and it's not been used for a while. I stored it really carefully, making sure the nib wasn't pressing on anything.
Fast forward to yesterday, and I really need to use it. So I get it out, plug it in, hover the pen over the tablet, and BAM! It's drawiing all over my work and it's moving stuff on my desktop, and I'm not evening touching the tablet yet!
I've done a little research, and this seems like a common problem with this model.
I don't know what to do, all the simple fixes haven't worked and they don't make replacement pens anymore. It's a pain because I paid good money for it, an

It's been over a year since I added a journal, and I really don't have an excuse. I'm so sorry for my lack of activity and I will strive mend my ways.

I've been so busy during the summer rush at work that I have completely neglected deviant art! :O I haven't drawn anything for months either! :O :O
This is really bad and needs to be rectified immediately! Only problem is I don't have a clue what to draw next. I've had no inspiration at all, I think my muse has done a runner! :D
At some point I wanna do a series of drawings based on the horses we have at work, but there's so many of them! I really want to do something light and fun first.
I also want to draw the Greek gods, but again I want something a little more bite sized before I crack on.
Any ideas, anyone?
